You do not need to make an appointment, please come along and speak to one of our team for advice, signposting and support.
This year we need your help to make sure carers have a voice in the services they use. We are setting up a carers forum and need you to come along and tell us what you want and need: What would make your life easier? What would you like services to look like?
We will be inviting guest speakers, as well as your local councillors, to come along. If you've got a burning issue, come along and let us know. We will be holding the forums actoss different parts of Salford, in your communities. You are welcome to bring the person you care for.
There has been a thriving Carers Forum in Bury for several years now; as a group they have challenged decisions on carer's services and work with their local councillors on issues affecting them. They also have regular guest speakers from a variety of services.
If you would like to be involved with a carers forum, please contact us. We would like to organise a trip to Bury to visit their forum so you can see it in action.
